Mulch and Bark

An option for improved water retention within a landscape, decorative mulch and bark retain moisture while also providing a clean, finished touch to any design. Composed of cedar, pine, other organic materials or even rubber, the incorporation of mulch or bark is effective along walkways, in flower beds or around trees. A simple layer of lightweight shredded mulch, dyed green waste or natural bark on the soil’s surface has the added benefit of increasing the productivity of the soil and discourages weeds from sprouting.
